THE BREAST NEST

RYE BAKERY, FROME

This structure was commissioned by the Rye Bakery Cafe, to be created specifically as a space to honour the need for breast-feeding in public. It is 5 metres wide and 4 metres high and was built in situ.
Whilst the space is primarily used for women and children, it is also a place for anyone to wind down and get some space. Many workshops are also held in here such as the ukulele and storytelling groups.
