THE CLUMBER EGG

CLUMBER PARK, NATIONAL TRUST

This piece was commissioned by The National Trust for one of it's most popular locations in the UK, Clumber Park

The brief was to create an Easter themed piece for part of their Easter nature trail, however they decided in the end to keep it as a permanent installation.

At 3 metres tall, this large-scale sculpture is designed to look like an egg that has part-sunken in to the ground. There is an entrance and a peep hole at the top that frames the passing wildlife and changing weathers.
