COMMERCIAL

While large, open-planned spaces are increasingly the norm they can be intimidating and overwhelming. Creating smaller, cocoon-like spaces within high-intensity environments increases the flexibility of the space, and accommodates a wide variety of people’s physical and emotional needs.

Within offices, I can create pods to be used as meeting rooms, places for quiet, contemplative work, or simply space to take some time out; something which is becoming increasingly recognised as essential to productive work.

In restaurants and cafes they can be used to break up large areas, and create cosy, intimate spaces with softer acoustics that will encourage customers to return again, and again.
